Jacob Blake, a 29 year old man was hit by four of seven shots on August 27th. Sources say he was shot as officers were attempting to arrest Blake over a domestic violence dispute. During the encounter, Blake was tased and hand cuffed. He was shot as he opened the driver’s door and leaned into the vehicle to reach for a knife. His three sons were in the back seat and watched as their father got shot paralyzed from the waist down. This shooting led to protests in downtown Kenosha. In order to draw attention to this near massacre and spread awareness about our often racist justice system.

The man who shot Jacob Blake four times in the back was Rusten Sheskey. He has been on the Kenosha police force for seven years and has been placed on administrative leave. A woman called the police to report that her boyfriend was present and was not to be in the premises. While holding onto Mr. Blake’s shirt, Officer Rusten Sheskey fired his service weapon seven times. Officer Sheskey fired the weapon into Mr. Blakes back while no other officers fired their guns.
