Halloween will be a little bit different this year. According to new national guidelines, Participating in traditional trick-or-treating where treats are handed to children who go door to door is listed under a High Risk Activity.

Despite the CDC’s latest advice, Americans are still trying to safely continue the spooky season. People are discovering new, and creative ways to continue to celebrate this holiday, amid a pandemic.

Over 148 Million people in the U.S. are expecting to take part in Halloween activities this year, according to an annual survey by the National Retail Federation, this dropping by 23% from last year.
