60 Inmates at Lincoln Correctional Center Test Positive for Covid-19

Sixty inmates at the Lincoln Correctional Center has tested positive for covid-19. Over 120 inmates were tested and half came back positive. Four staff members from the LLC also came back positive. All people is the Correctional center that test positive are in medical isolation or quarantine to prevent spread. The people in the medical isolation are checked 2 times a day. According to the director of the Lincoln correctional center, all inmates are told of the covid-19 cases of the facility. On Sunday, November 8, a man died in the facility. The man was in his sixties and had many health conditions. It is believed that he had covid-19 before entering the facility. The whole facility is currency in quarantine. It Is restricting furloughs and work in community until further notice. The facility is hoping to get parts of the facility back to normal sometime in the future.
