Let’s talk about how LPS schools are dealing with Covid-19. The mask mandate is back so the schools are making kids wear them. Even if you are vaccinated you still wear a mask because with the new variant you can still get it and spread it. The schools are saying they probably won’t be doing online school again., but you never know! We are already in the orange with COVID again. LPS is always working on trying to make the school safe from Covid-19 the best they can.

Every new update for COVID at LPS is emailed to the parents or families of students. The administrators and staff always make sure the students have the masks on correctly. The only time you can have the mask off is outside or in the lunchroom. In the cafeteria at each table there are clear borders in between where each person sits to keep the social distancing. Some teachers at Irving make sure you sanitize your hands before you go in the classroom. In most Irving classrooms and hallways there are signs about masks or social distancing.
