I wanted to know what the 6th graders thought of Irving so far, and although there’s an article about the difference between 6th and 7th grade, only 7th graders were interviewed and the details about 6th grade were kind of vague so I went down to the basement to interview some 6th graders.

I ended up interviewing Beckett Bartholow, Bryn Dickson, Neva Greisen, and Ember Reynolds. They rated 6th grade as an average of 8.425/10 (8.7/10, 9/10, 9/10, 7/10) and said that they liked making new friends and getting more work. However one thing that they didn’t like is all the people in the 6th grade hallway and having a block schedule. When compared to elementary school they said that they missed having a second recess and some of their teachers. But they did not miss having one teacher for the whole day, spelling tests, or fourth graders.
